Tanmay Mathur, MS, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
Tanmay is the Chief Executive Officer of Covington Behavioral Health, a part of the Acadia Healthcare system, where he is responsible for overseeing patient care, operational activities, business growth, and financial performance of the hospital.
Tanmay earned a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a master’s degree in pharmacology from Tulane University, as well as an MBA with concentrations in strategy and healthcare from Vanderbilt University.
Prior to his time at CBH, Tanmay most recently served as the CEO of Riverwoods Behavioral Health in the Greater Atlanta Area. Tanmay initially joined Acadia to work on the executive teams at Belmont Behavioral Health in Philadelphia and Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center outside of Chicago. Prior to joining Acadia, Tanmay worked on the Corporate Strategy and Development teams at managed care companies, Humana and WellCare.
He is also a Co-Founder and on the Board of Directors of non-profit Greatest Gift, Inc., a 501(c)3 dedicated to the education of organ donation.
